Having Gerry Lopez there along with some of the best stand up paddleboarders in the world made for a historical event. The comraderie between the contestants was astounding, and I think it generated great energy in the crowd. Kudos to Rainbow Sandals, and Ron House, for putting this great event together. It was good for SUP, as well as the local community. Can't wait for next year! The Battle of the Paddle was one of the most exciting events I’ve ever attended!
