Srfnff – Thanks. At first I was going to cut the videos really short but our team said they liked it bc it made them feel like they were there…so I left it. I’m glad you enjoyed them bc I was wondering if they were too long.

I’m not sure how the woman on the Naish 11′6″ did. I didn’t see her at the end and didn’t catch her name.

The race was actually more like 10 or 11 miles and some people were on SUP’s as short as 9′6″ and 10′. I would not have much fun on a board that small but maybe they did. There was basically no wind or swell. There was a good mix of boards. I would say only 50% or so were the 12′6″ and longer ones.

DW – That’s not a race board. I think it’s either an 11′6″ standem or a 10′6″. It’s not a HoloHolo bc the tail is square. I’m not 100% sure but it’s something from the 2008 C4 line.

Image 15, is that a new 12′6 C4 race board? That pointed nose is not anything I’ve seen before on a C4.

Great report Evan, almost like being there. How did the woman on the 11-6 Naish do? Seems like a pretty short board for an 8-miler. Were there boards being used that were as short or shorter than that? Everything else seemed a lot longer.

I really enjoyed the post, one of your best imho.
