C4 Waterman Athletes to Watch
The Quiksilver Waikiki Paddle Festival kicks off this Saturday May 5th, 2012 on the shores of Waikiki. With all the world’s top racers here to compete it’s going to be a jam packed exciting weekend. The C4 Ohana will be there in full support of the event and our competing ambassadors. We hope you can make it down to share in the stoke and the fun. Below is some of the great things we have on offer thru the weekend. Make sure you follow us on Facebook & Twitter for the latest updates and team news.
Travis Grant: Travis won on this race course last year beating the world’s best at their own game. With another year under his belt along with a gold medal at the ISA games in Peru, Travis seems set and relaxed to do battle once again with the latest top competitors.
Eric Leu: Do not underestimate this 5′6″ tall Tahitian powerhouse. He’s got the weight of his entire island behind him and brings along his ace-in-the-hole, dynamic coach and fellow waterman, Raimana Van Bastola
Mariko Strickland: Mariko is looking to get busy this race weekend. With plenty of training under her belt and a new ring on her finger, look to her for a strong race.
Terrene Black: This Australian dark horse has already made a name for herself in the Aussie race scene. Terrene is seeking to both make an impact and have a great experience racing in Hawaii for the first time.
