THE NA PALI RACE is a 17-mile long distance paddleboard/stand-up paddleboard (SUP)/OC1 race along Kauai’s breathtaking northern coast: the Na Pali. This coastline includes the highly protected Kalalau Valley, a sacred place on Hawaii’s oldest inhabited island. The magnitude of Na Pali’s towering 4000-foot tall convoluted cliffs, and the magnificent beauty of this restricted coastline can only truly be appreciated from the ocean. There is no more satisfying way to experience this adventure than on your own paddleboard with the summer tradewinds at your back.
