Kai Lenny puts on a strong performance here at Stop 6

Kai Lenny (Naish) puts on a strong performance here in Chicago for Stop 6 of the Stand Up World Series, leading the Sprint Racing Finals right up until the beach, having to settle for second in one of the tightest and most dramatic conclusions to any World Series Sprint Course and then battling for the lead across the entire distance course.

Despite having to settle for second, Kai Lenny clearly demonstrates once again that he is a serious threat and will be looking to defend his 2012 World Title, whatever it takes. Jake Jensen puts on a strong performance here in Chicago

Jake Jensen (Fanatic) puts on a stunning performance here in Chicago for stop 6 of the Stand Up World Series, as he posts an impressive 3rd place in the sprints, and follows it up with a strong 5th place finish in the long distance to put him in 3rd place overall for the event.

However, a tie with Zane Schweitzer (Starboard) forced a tie breaker, another sprint course, to determine the 3rd place finish and after an epic battle, Jake hit the beach first to run up the Pacifico chute to victory. A great performance by the young Australian.

Zane Schweitzer maintains great consistency at Stop #6

Zane Schweitzer (Starboard) maintains phenomenal consistency here at Stop 6 of the Stand Up World Series in Chicago: with a 4th place finish in the World Series Sprints on Day 1, Zane then put it all on the line on Day 2 to post another 4th place finish to put him into the tie scenario with Australia’s Jake Jenson (Fanatic).

Despite a valiant effort from Zane, a spurt through the last leg of the tie breaker by Jake Jensen meant that Zane had to settle for 4th place overall for the event, that is nonetheless an extremely impressive result for the young talent from Maui and only strengthens his position in the overall ratings.
