European Cup to provide not only a Series Title, but also 2014 European Champions

The European Cup will provide a prestigious Title for the Sport of Stand Up Paddling, as the World’s best paddlers congregate in Europe for a dynamic Series of events spanning Europe during June and July.

This Series is open to everyone, from Elite to entry level paddlers, as well as our Na Kama Kai Youth Racing component: there will be short distance courses and open Sprint Racing to complement the Full Long Distance and World Series Sprints, providing a complete program of racing with something for everyone.

Beyond the Cup Title itself, this unique Series of events will also crown a Men’s and Women’s European Champion (the leading European athlete from across the European Cup Series), providing even more prestige and impact from this collection of World Class events.

Results will be based on the 5 events, with athletes able to discard their two worst results in the creation of an overall leaderboard. The European Cup will maintain the World Series points system in the classification of results.

Remember, the Fehmarn SUP World Cup in Germany is one of the 6 Official World Series events that will count towards the overall World Rankings in 2014.

Men & Women Winners of the European Cup will earn a 4 night stay at Turtle Bay for the prestigious World Championship Finals, amongst other exciting awards.
