JUNE – Place to Be: Colorado. What?

Thoughts of Colorado usually melt with the winter snow. But this June Colorado is back on center stage….for standup paddling. C4 Waterman kicks off it’s 2011 Rocky Mountain Calendar of events June 2 through June 18. With three separate events and nine individual competitions raring to go in some of the most spectacular whitewater the planet has to offer, there’s more reason than ever to be in Colorado in the summer. The record snow fall of the recent winter will soon become record rapids!

During the past three years, C4 Waterman has partnered with various Colorado organizations to stage whitewater and river specific SUPing contests in the mountain ranges. Recognizing the similar values both mountain and ocean folks share, C4’s efforts have been focused on fostering the development of the sport in the mauka, or mountain, communities. Our time in the Rockies has also been invested in the design and development of state-of-the-art inland waterman products.

C4 Waterman would like to invite you to be a part of the action on the snow melt-fueled Colorado Rivers. Three separate events, back-to-back-to-back weekends, you can make the most of your trip and your training.

June 2-5:
TEVA Mountain Games. Vail Co.

June 11-12:
Whitewater Champs. Glenwood Springs Co.

June 15-18
FIBArk. Americas oldest and boldest Whitewater festival. Salida Co.

We highly recommend our River SUP Instructional DVD. For Safety, Skills and a competitive edge.
