Here are some photos sent by Darin Fujimori from the 2009 QuickSilver Makahiki Stand Up Paddle/Canoe Surf Contest. Photos show some of the highlights during the stand up and canoe surfing event at the Makaha Beach, with C4 Waterman and QuickSilver as sponsors.
Event one is next weekend September 20th and 21st. It is a 2-day combined time race on two separate courses. Day one is a down wind course and day 2 is a flat water cruise through Kona town.
