This weekend, the world’s greatest stand up paddlesurfers meet again in the 2nd event of the Stand Up World Tour, following the inaugural event three months ago at Oahu’s infamous Sunset Beach,
The contenders, an international list of legends, include:
France’s own Peyo Lizarazu who came 4th in the first event of the tour in Hawaii
Hawaii’s, 17 year old Kai Lenny, the champion of the Sunset Beach pro and Ekolu Kalama, winner of the Stand Up World Tour Contenders, Tahiti and the prestigious Molokai- Oahu 2009 stand up paddle race
USA’s, big wave legend Garret Mc Namara and 3 times ASP longboard champion Colin McPhillips
South Africa’s, Chris Bertish, the winner of Maverics big wave contest 2009/2010
Australia’s, big wave charger Dave Muir
Tahiti’s, Teahupo’o own Guillaume Bourligeux and Arsene Harehoe
as well as champions from Spain, Italy, England and Wales.
