On my recent visit to the Tropical Blends’ shop, Jim Hayes showed me a couple of new shapes in their SUP board line up, the 9’2″ by Kyle Bernhardt and the 9’10” by Dennis Pang.

I took this quick video after the July 4th Da Hui race of the new S.I.C. F-18 next to a Bark 17’6″. Both boards placed in the top so it was interesting to see their design differences. Check out the video for a quick peek.

Here’s the result of the 20th Annual Haleiwa Joe’s Labor Day Paddleboard Race. I wasn’t able to race in this one but I heard it was fun.
After competing and winning his division in the Duke Kahanamoku Oceanfest race, Starboard team rider Connor Baxter travelled to Friesland, Holland for another SUP event. In the Duke’s Oceanfest Race, Connor placed 1st in his division (19 and under) and landing 8th overall SUP – finishing in 1:24:00–only 9 minutes behind the winner–Scott Gamble.
